Game #161 GameThread: Marlins @ Jays

MLB: Miami Marlins at Toronto Blue Jays Nick Turchiaro-Imagn Images

I am glad I missed most of yesterday’s game. I had a fun night at a ‘Men’s Night Out’ charity night—maybe too much fun. I usually say I don’t get hangovers, but today is the exception. I played tennis this morning and did pretty well, considering, but I’m going to lay out on the couch.

I guess the good news is we found a new bullpen arm: Tyler Heineman. And Kirk kept his hitting strike going. He’s at 18 games now

Marlins manager Skip Schumaker has left the team because of a death in the family. Apparently, he isn’t going to come back next year, because he was unhappy with the firing of Kim Ng (among other things).

Vlad needs one more hit for 200 on the season. He’s had a heck of a year.

Today’s lineup. No Clase (he had an 0 for last night so we have to bench him).
