Game #146 GameThread: Mets @ Jays

The Jays are still looking for their second win of September. On the plus side, they aren’t getting blown out. They haven’t lost by more than two this month, and four of the six losses have been one-run losses. In the month, they have scored 29 runs and allowed 34 runs.

It is the Jays Care Auction Day. I used to bid on stuff yearly, but the bids go wild in the last few minutes.

If I hear one more rant about catchers on one knee, I will become a cricket fan instead of a baseball fan. I get it, old players don’t think modern players are any good, but I need a break from it.

I expected Vlad to get today off, even though the x-rays were negative. I’d rather him take a break.
